about

The Film:

A drama/romance about a couple’s evolving relationship as they travel across the globe.

How:

We could never afford to shoot this film all at once so we’re shooting it in 3 parts, in 3 different countries, at three different times, all on super 16mm. The structure of the film has gaps between each part/country, so it isn’t problematic if it takes a long time between parts to raise cash. In fact seeing the couple get older naturally actually makes it cooler. Funding this films comes from the cash I make teaching English and through fans like you. I live in the countries we shoot in because it’s awesome and (more importantly) to portray these people cultures and places with an understanding, not only our differences, but more importantly, our similarities.

About me

Hi, I'm Ben. In 2007 I packed my bags and moved overseas to pursue my dream of making a feature film.

It's a tiny story about the evolution of a couple's relationship as they travel around the globe. The story takes place in Japan, Taiwan and Germany. And I'm living in each place to get to know the people, the culture and to simply go on an adventure while putting a film together along the way.

Here are some pictures from my travels and info on the film as we put this movie together, piece by piece.
